Notes: In 1940, he registered for the draft. He was living, apparently, with his mother in Shelbyville, Indiana. On his draft registration he said his employer was Bishop Joseph Ritter. In the 1940 Census he is listed as living “temporarly” in Miami, Troy County, Ohio. In the 1950 Census, he is back with his mother, in Shelbyville. The remarks state the he “can only work part time”. It is unclear when he went to New Mexico, but obviously after 1950. He is listed in the 1958 Shelbyville City Directory. His mother was 71 in the 1950 Census. She died in 1962. Servants of the Paraclete are a congregation dedicated to serving priest and religious who struggle with everything from alcholoism to paedophilia.
