Visitation will be at St. Susanna Church, Plainfield on Monday, March 8 from 2 to 8 p.m. with Rosary and vigil service at 8 p.m. and at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 9 preceding the Mass of Resurrection at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Rev. Richard Ignatius Zore, MS Died on Mar. 4, 2004. He was 72. Richard was ordained a Roman Catholic priest by Archbishop Paul C. Schulte on May 3, 1957 at St. Meinrad Seminary. Later he received his MS at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN. Following ordination he was assistant pastor at St. Patrick in Indianapolis until 1961. During this period he taught at Sacred Heart High School. He was Dean of Boys and instructor at the Latin School, Indianapolis as well as administrator, Holy Trinity, Edinburgh, IN. In 1974 he was assigned Pastor, St. Susanna, Plainfield, Indiana until he retired to Indianapolis in 1999. At. St. Susanna he retired the parish debt and was closely involved in the campaign to expand the church and school and the construction of a multipurpose building dedicated as Zore Hall. Father Richard was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Family Council # 3682. He enjoyed golfing and gardening. Father Richard was born May 22, 1931 to the late Joseph A. and Louise Turk Zore. His brother Dr. Joseph J. Zore and sisters Louise Collins and Barbara Keers; 19 nieces and nephews; 44 grand-nieces and nephews; 9 great-grand-nieces and nephews, all survive him. A brother, Thomas precedes him in death. Visitation will be at St. Susanna Church, Plainfield on Monday, March 8 from 2 to 8 p.m. with Rosary and vigil service at 8 p.m. and at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 9 preceding the Mass of Resurrection at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
